Graphic files to Filemaker Pro 2.1v3

      On a MAC running OS 7.1 and Filemaker
Pro 2.1 v3,I have found that when I try to add a graphics file (TIFF or
Pict) to an established data base with appropriate formatting, I get an error
message 43 ("can't find system file-obsolete"according to EasyErrors) which
appears to be a problem with a Claris EXTND program.If this is
correct,where does one find the correct Claris EXTND software for this purpose?  All of original Claris software was installed and works as intended. The Claris homepage and the usual software sites online are not
helpful.

Try one of the following, at least one (if not all) should work, and you should be all set...

1. try reinstalling the Application, but first, throw out the Claris folder in the root level of your system folder, and throw out the FMPro and Finder preferences files.  Then rebuild the desktop and restart.

2. convert the graphic into a PICT first using a utility like graphiConverter, then import it to FMPro.

3. cut-and-paste it from another program (such as graphicConverter or Photoshop).

Reinstallation did not help;a pict file can be pasted in yielding a microscopic image in a record line, not a visible picture.Use of MAC control panel to increase magnification.shows color pixels from color image.Does the software produce a visible image when running properly? Sorry out of points this month for suitable reward.
