Compaq phone center

Whenever I turn my computer on, the "phone center" is automatically started. My question is, is there some way that this can be changed. I don't want to permanently disable the phone center (I still use it), I just want to set up the computer so that I can turn on the phone center when I want it on, and not have to wait for the  computer to automatically start it up whenever I turn on the computer. I own a Compaq Presario that uses Windows 95. Thanks.

I'm using NT4 which is very similar to windows 95.  Check Explorer for directories called 'Startup'.  If the phone centre program or shortcut is contained in a startup directory, try moving it to a different directory (or to the desktop).  When you restart windows 95, it won't start automatically.  If you move it to the desktop it is very easy to double click on the icon to start it only when you need it.
