"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The book to buy is
tcl and the Tk Toolkit by John K Ousterhout, Addison-Wesley, 1994. ISBN 0-201-63337-X

The answers given are good for Tcl and Tk. But, I was not asking about Tcl which is a different language. I was asking
specifically for PERL and TK. So, really, the answers, while valuable
don't address my question at all.

I think you will find that Perl TK is too new for there to be any books specifically for it. However architecturally Perl Tk is the same as Tcl Tk and so the principles for one will apply to the other.

You can find out about some of these issues at the following URL.

There is also a perl tk email list.
