Application Server Problem(D3)?

Hi,

I created a mutil-tired database application. It has a client and application server. It's working fine in same machine. But when I seperated it in two machine. Then I got EOleSysError- Access is deined.
Any idea what is problem? I use Window NT(Local LAN)
And One more question, how can I make that client and application server connected by internet connection?
Can I do that set the RemoteServer.ComputerName :=IP address (206.189.150.147)?

Thanks for any sugesstion.

Did you check that you have the same definitions in the registry files on both machines?
The registry file contains data about ole objects.

As for the second question.The computer name is not the IP address, but the name of the computer.
If you want to connect 2 computers by the internet, you can use, for example, the TCP component. In this case, the connection is doen by the procedure:
TCP1.Connect(IP Address, Remote port)

Thanks your response.
I can connect 2 computers by the internet using  TCP component.
But in RemoteServer.ComputerName, what I should input in the internet connection? I only know the IP address of RemoteServer.
Any examples?

Under the Demos directory in delphi, There is a TCP example, in the internet directory.
