hello experts,
i was going through a shareware site and found a series of archives that are to be used as logo.sys in default boot drive.  It changes the logo of windows 95.  I want to know how to do that.  I mean to say how do i create my own startup windows 95 logo.

thanks in advance.

ps: instead of giving me a brief explanation please give me details (for a change). or tell me which software /sahraware to use and where to get it from.

Just create a standard BMP picture (can be done with the paint apllication in W95 or paintshop pro (www.jasc.com) or whatever)

(640x480 pixels and 256 colors max)

Save the picture as logo.sys and replace the existing logo.sys file (you can find it by START / FIND FILE)

Voila, done

The right size of the Bitmap is 320x400 256 color.
You can create it using the size 534x400, and when you are finished, you can resize it
