What do I need in order to upload software so that visitors
to my webpage can download it?  I have successfully uploaded
and downloaded gifs and music
files in MIDI format, to my ISP's ftp site.  When I try to
upload my FoxPro
application files, the client does not allow me to access
my FoxPro directory.  I must be missing something....

Hi,

You should check with your provider regarding the permissions
on your upload/download directory. The directory's permission
should be rwxr-xr-x or 755 in octal.and files's permission should be rwxr--r-- or 744 in octal.
If the permissions are not set properly, you nor your clients
will be able to upload/download.

Regards,
Minh Lai

Thanks, I wasn't aware of "permissions."  I'll look into it.
