Saving Explorer settings
I am trying to save my Explorer settings with selected windows collapsed and others expanded. Is this possible?
Yes
ASKER
Yes, this is possible. Here's how it is done.....
Opps, sorry.
The easiest way is with one of two very good utilities.
THIS IS WHERE TO GET "MORE PROPERTIES 2.0"
http://home.global.co.za/~olivierd/imaginary/
THIS IS WHERE TO GET TWEAKUI
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/software/PowerToy.htm
------
Either of these programs will do what you want and a lot more without having to make registry hacks.
--------
If you would like to see some other options, go to:
http://www.microsoft.com/kb/default.asp
At step 1 choose win 95
at step 5 type explorer save settings
You will find 14 articles about settings.
if you need further help, let me know.
