In my opinion there are very few really good books dealing with cgi. Perhaps it is because there is really not a lot to learn!

This books however does cover other topics including security, server side includes and image maps which a cgi programmer would do well to know about.

If you are not so worried about cgi itself then the Llama book on perl is the one to go for.
Is Teach yourself CGI programming with Perl 5 in a week about the same. It is by the same author
The Llama book is the 'Learning Perl' book by Randal L. Schwartz. ISBN 1-56592-042-2
