Windows Sound System & Win95

Win95 seems to recognize my Windows Sound System sound card and install drivers, but the .wav's sound like static or garbled as though they were analog and wowing.  Win95 suggests we NOT use the installation disks that came with the card.  Any word of a patch, or newer drivers?

What is your Sound card make and model?
go to this trouble shooter and let me know the results. it may just answer the question for you.
