WordPerfect6.1 changes letter case!

WordPerfect keeps trying to decide whether letters at the start of sentences should be capitalized.  Sometimes I don't want them to be, but it keeps changing them to capitals.  I change them back, and it changes them again!!

How do I make it stop?

Turn off QuickCorrect (Click Tools, QuickCorrect, and unmark the option Replace Words as You Type, click on Close).
