Colormap viewer - does one exist?

Does anyone know of an app that will  let you
view a color based on its RGB values? ie
showrgb in Solaris produces list of colors with
their corresponding rgb hex values.
Is there anything out there that will let me
see the actual color?

May be  www.mit.edu  is a good starting place
