Is it posible to program directX games in Delphi.
what about the speed, and is there any components out there???

Yes.
In order to create directX games in Delphi you need to use Microsoft Windows 95 Games SDK. It contains several objects such as DirectDraw, DirectSound etc.

If you need to know how to use this SDK by Delphi, I suggest you read about it in the Book Called: 'Delphi2 UNLEASHED'.
This book contains explanations and several examples about the DirectX and also about other methods.
