How do I actually rate the difficulty of the question. Every question asked is a problem be it easy or hard.

It most probably is a memory configuration error. You didn't say what OS you use, but if you are using an expanded memory manager, like Qemm, 386Max or EMM386, try to disable it and see if it works. You then have to find out which program or device driver that's loaded high causes your problem. If you use EMM386.EXE with the "HIGSCAN" option remove this parameter, it makes many systems unstable.
Let me know if it worked or else we continue searching.

Good luck,
Henrie.

By the way, about the points, 100 points is a good start. I rate points depending on how much effort I've put into it to solve the problem myself and how quick I need an answer.
Until your problem is solved, you can "up" the points, if it looks like it's gonna be a real difficult one.
