old digiboard pc/8 serial board linux config questions

ack!  how do i set this beast up with slackware 3.2?
can someone point me in the right direction, please? I don't see anything BLATANTLY OBVIOUS in the distributed documentation.

If I recall correctly, there is an option in the kernel configuration that allows you to use digiboard. cd /usr/src/linux and make xconfig (if in X) or make config. Then follow the instructions.
