"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Definitely not. If you had a Power Center Pro 210 fully decked out you could to it but on anything less the speed just isnt there. You could do it but your screen would be TINY and your resolution would be horrible not to mention chunky motion at best. Your best bet is to wait for Blue Label. The next PC emulator. It should be twice as fast as VPC. if ya dont want to wait youre stuck with getting a PCP 210...which isnt a bad thing to be stuck with..=)

i don't know weed, running virtualpc on a power computing powertower pro 180 (144megs ram) and it fairly screams. true, the screen is way small, and the "pc" has been allocated 64 megs, but this would probably represent a minimum configuration.

yeah...180 is the minimus suggested speed requirement. and as always the more ram the better.
