How can I upgrade my version 3.0 of Netscape Navigator Gold to version 3.02 without having to install it as a new program and reinstall all the plugins?

I belive it is done automaticly for you. Of course you would need to download the new version. Then run it and it will overwrite your old version - the settings are stored in the registry and are preserved. You won't need to reinstall the plugins either - they are detected automaticly each time you run the Navigator (the nav. looks inside the /plugins directory and registers them). The only thing is that prehaps you would have a duplicate line "Netscape 3" in the add/remove box on the settings panel. You can delete the old one using the Microsofts TWEAK UI program (available for free from their web site as a part of power toys). Or also using the registry editor but you must know what you'll be doing.

Advice: download the program and run setup; it should replace the old one smoothly

The answer helps, but I need to be sure. I don't want to loose all the plugins I have.
