Public News Server?

This seemed the most appropriate area to post this question to, but I apologize if it should be posted elsewhere.

I need access to a public newsserver to post to.  It isn't necessary to have read access, although it would be nice.  in particular it needs the feeds for us.jobs, in.jobs, and
related HR groups.

Hi,

Public news server are hard to find these days due to some abuse. You might use http://www.dejanews.com to read news and
also posting news. It's a great news server, you won't be missing any news or posts with that news server.

n0thing, i tried the newsserver, but they only let you post & read from their web interface.  i appreciate it, but i should have been more specific about my needs.  i'm writing a script for a client that will connect to a public newsserver and upload their job postings.

to offer a revised statement:  what i need is a newsserver where all i have to do set my news enviroment variable in unix (i know how to do this part).  web based options like deja news unfortunately want us to read their advertisements and won't let me post & read directly.

another solution to this is if anyone knows how to set unix ENV variables for news server authentification.  i have access to several news servers that i am authorized on and could use those if i knew how to authenticate with my username & login.  the scenario is this:  i'm running a newsreader on system XYZ and have an account on ABC where i'm authorized to run news.  any thoughts on that solution?

I've raised the points to 115 for this question.
