I want to make the database of the application I am developing available to other applications for things like mail-merges, how would I go about doing this? I know that the tables I use are Paradox version 5. The version of Delphi I am using is version 1.

The best way to do that would be to export your data as a "Comma Separated Values" file (a.k.a CSV). All that this entails is traversing down your database and writing each record to a text file with a comma between each of the field values and with each line in the text file being a record from the database.

BadBart,

Applications that support CSV will automatically import the file and there will be no need for cutting and pasting....
