Can I download compiler for free from internet. I want to learn to write programs. My system is Compaq presario 1082
Windows 95.

There is several C compilers on simtelnet mirrors (And other I suppose).
for example
ftp://ftp.ibp.fr/pub/simtelnet/msdos/c/
OR
ftp://ftp.ibp.fr/pub/lang/lcc/contrib/
