Unable to load file:BLVBXLL.DLL

I've just written a program in Delphi v1, but when I try to run it on a computer without  Delphi installed I get an error saying unable to load BLVBXLL.DLL

I'm guessing that it's something to do with VBX components, but i'm not using any (i'm using the following Edit box's, Labels, BitBtn's, open / save / print dialog's, menu bars, memo box's & image images.

TIA

Andy

Hi,  andym

i had the same problem. Look for yours uses clauses and delete
the ones you do not need any more. When you delete a componet
our dear delphi does not delete the clauses it uses.

do not forget do do a build all.

i think this is the way.

If you use chartFX etc. then you use the vbx.
I think the file BLVBXLL.DLL is in the windows\system directory.
Install this file in this directory.

As far as I can tell I've used nothing from the VBX tab.  Although I did place a BitPict on the form but deleted it when I realised that extra files are needed to use vbx's.

Copying the extra file to the system directory is not really an option as the program will need to be run on a networked version of windows (wabi).

It appears that the VBX controls add there own unit's to the uses statements, as well as the VBX unit.
