I'm trying to set password for my Paradox 7.0 databases.
When I connect to theese databases from my application,
I always have to write the specified password.
Is there any chance to avoid this?

Use a TDatabase component. Double click on the component and Uncheck LogIn prompt. Also specify the username and password. Thats all there is to it!!! You will no longer be prompted....

This may work I have had problems specify in the password - for 10 you may not get the full story about it - for instance why USERNAME? would it just assume current logged on (win95/nt) username as the default login dialog does?

Also there is some interesting tricks associated with to opposite requirement - how to get new password each time a table is opened.

Anyway 10 points - not much
