MSVC Types

As soon as I get some more RAM, I'm going to get the latest version of MSVC. My question:
What can the Profesional version do that the Learning version can't, and what can the Enterprise version do that the Profesional version can't?

Professional Edition adds code optimizations, the profiler, and static linking to the MFC Library. Also, you cannot sell products built with the Learning Edition, so you need the Professional for non-learning uses.

Enterprise Edition adds tools for working with client/server, and includes Visual SourceSafe source-code control system.

SourceSafe?

Yes...it is a source control system that helps keeping tracks of the versions. Useful especially in development teams.

Is it impossible to work with client/server with the profesional version, or does the enterprise version just make it a whole lot more simple?

It is definitely possible to program client/server apps with the Professional Edition.
