I would like to create my own "Homesite" HTML Editor.  I am looking for a Text Edit control that allows me to have multicolor text in a single TextBox.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Microsoft's Richtext control richtx32.ocx supports multicolor text.  Here is some sample code to change color and font of a portion of a richtext control.

txtControl.Text = txtControl.Text & vbCrLf & "Error Description Returned: " & strTemp
txtControl.SelStart = pos
txtControl.SelLength = Len(txtControl.Text) - pos
txtControl.SelBold = True
txtControl.SelColor = QBColor(12)
txtControl.SelLength = 0

All you have to do is set the selstart and sellength and change the color using selcolor.
