I have made a fractal program that allows zooming into and out of various fractals, but I would like to add the feature to generate videos by calculating each frame.

I want to put this video into AVI format, so it can be played in Windows easily, but I can't find a unit, or even a description of how this works...

Right now, I am just dumping screenshots to a file and playing them back.

For information about formats of AVI files and other movie files go to http://www.dcs.ed.ac.uk/~mxr/gfx/3d-hi.html - The Graphics File Format Page.

BTW: AVI is quite hard to encode...
