Surprised to find so little on IE 4.0 in here..
Anyways, after installation (my kernel totally re-vamped)
I have a boot up problem.
Symptoms are win95 will crash and shutdown, then after
pressing the reset button it will boot fine.
If you have a fix..great! If not, is anyone experiencing
this problem??

It has been a very hot discussion about the IE4 crash in some newsgroups. Some of it even came into netscape's discussion group. So far I haven't heard any good fix, a lot of people went through the same problem and had to reinstall the whole Win95.
Check out this news group, it might give you a good idea of the problem:
microsoft.public.inetexplorer.ie4 or
microsoft.public.inetexplorer.ie4.browser
The name of the newsgroup server is:
msnew.microsoft.com
Good Luck!

Thanks!
Anyone think this IE 4.0 is sorta overkill??
I mean I don't need EVERYTHING to be a link!!

Commented:
IE4.0 is just a preview now, not a final release. The advice I heard is that do NOT install it on your prime system.
Be very CAREFUL with it.
