How do I open the default web browser, with a given URL, at run-time on the users machine.

Hi essbb,

I answered a question like this earlier.

Just add ShellAPI to your uses clause and try this:

VAR
   Cmd: String;

Cmd := 'http://www.microsoft.com/';
ShellExecute( 0,  'open', PChar(Cmd), nil, nil, SW_SHOWNORMAL );

This should fire up the default browser with the URL already set.
