Disconnect Probs with Free PPP 2.5.3

I removed PPP and have installed Free PPP 2.5v3 on my Powr Mac 7100/80, System 7.5.5. and the Apple Internet Connection Kit.

On quitting  Claris E-mailer or Netscape Communicator, the Free PPP will not disconect from the provider, unless I open Free PPP Set Up and tell it manually to disconnect.  In addition I have been getting a lot of unscheduled disconnects and freeze-ups.  Really quirky behavior.

Maybe there is a conflict with Apple Internet Dialer.  Should I trash it?  Or should I give up on Free PPP 2.5v3 and reinstall PPP?

Thank you in advance for your help.

freeppp will not disconnect when netscape and claris are quit nor will it disconnect when any other application that uses tcp/ip is quit. FeePPP just doesnt know how to do that and for most people that would be a hassle. FreePPP will however try to automatically CONNECT when netscape/claris/etc are launched. as for the quirky disconnects and freeze ups you may have a "noisy" phone line or an init sring that needs tweaking. In any case switch to Ot/ppp...on powermacs its faster, stabler, and more reliable.

The answer was quite clear and to the point.
Where do I find ot/ppp?
