I would like to know where I could get a Unit which will play XM or IT mod files for Turbo Pascal 7 in REAL mode....

I have the old Midas Sound System, but that only plays MODs and S3Ms...

Bad news for you... Since XM came out almost all folks that write mod-players converted their stuff to protected mode. So I don't think you won't find a xm player (maybe one for the GUS only.. These are more or less easy to write)...

For IT players... well, I think Midas has limited IT support in the current version, but only in protected mode.

To make it short and painless: I don't know any single library to play XM or IT under Borland Pascal in RealMode... Sorry.

No, that's no reason. You have a 64k limit, but that's no real problem, it just makes the writing of the routines harder.

I think there is a free 32 bit pascal version available (TMT pascal?).. I would give it a try.
