I would like to know how to make:
A flash effect.. (background fade/flashing
A Type effect.. (text self-typing on screen)
Maybee. a dot tunnel...

Well.. I am a real newbie.. so.. if you would explain
the source step by step.. then it  would be just great!

what I am planning to code is:
half screen is my ascii logo..
the rest.. should be type and fade effects..

Do a search for a dos program called  "pcgpe.exe"  This program has tuturials and examples that will do what you want.  if you can't find it.  I can e mail it to you.  This program does all its examples in pascal and assembler so it should just right for you.
