AH Cavewars and Third Reich text problem
I am getting messed-up text when running certain DOS-based SVGA games on my Windows 95 machine.
The problem is apparent in Avalon Hill's Cavewars game (and Third Reich). I am running these DOS programs on a P150 and Windows 95 (via MS DOS mode). The text (and the hexagonal grid in Third Reich) contains intermittantly thick vertical/diagonal lines and primarily thin horizontal lines. These are lines which actually make-up the text and hex grid. I've simulated this problem in Windows 95 by setting the desktop area to a lower value (lower than my default) but still have been unable to find a fix. Any suggestions?
