I know this is not an appropriate platform to raise this one, but bear with me for this one.

I am in the foreign investment promotion and would like to keep track of investors both potential and current and their status at a given time.

If anyone is aware of software that I could utilize with minimal changes, please advise me.

If you or someone else is maintaining the information, one of the many contact database systems, such as ACT or Janus, woud do the job for you.  They are designed to keep track of individuals, and have areas for additional information on each contact (person).  You may find other features of them very useable, such as appointments adn reminders by person, etc.
