Macromedia's Authorware Program

I need to jumpout to web page and return back. My sound
icon is just before the interaction icon and at the interaction icon I have two buttons one which takes to the web page and the other to the presentation. When I jumpout from Authorware and go to the web site and
then again when I return back the sound does not play. I am using JumpOutReturn function.
How can I solve this problem. Because if I place the mediaplay command at the interaction icon and play the wave file then when it enters the web site, the music still plays and does not stop. Can you give me some solution please... It is very urgent.

Thanking you

There are a couple of things you could do.  The best thing I can think of would be to attach a map icon to the button that jumps out of Authorware and put some functionality in the map button to put a "Paused" screen on the Authorware presentation.  Have that screen include a button to resume, and then when the button is clicked the map is exited and the sound plays.

If you're having actual error strings pop up from inside Authorware about sound drivers not being available, then that's a whole other problem (which can usually be solved by putting in some pauses).

From what you explain of the project, Authorware is doing exactly what it's supposed to--the JumpOutReturn won't play the sound file since it's returning to the interaction icon.  So you need a way to play it when you get back (and JumpOutReturn won't always wait for you to come back--JumpOutReturn really just launches another program and puts the Authorware presentation just behind the program in the app list).

If you need more help on this, just add a comment.  :)  Have fun.
