Exception Error - Please Help
Hi there, I've written a phonebook database program - and it has worked fine up until I made a few changes (like putting in a searching routine) and nothing out of the ordinary - but now on two users machines I get the following error:
Exception EOleSysError in module PPD.EXE at 0006EEF9.
Class not Registered.
I've got exception handlers in to handle the database and file routine errors that may crop up but I have NO idea what could be causing this error and only on some machines.
Desperately seeking help. The application can be downloaded from http://cyberclassifieds.co.za/software/
The application (newer version) that seems to crash on some machines is http://cyberclassifieds.co.za/software/ppdv11.zip
Thanks for anyone's help.

Thanks - I found a OLECtrl Unit that had mysteriously placed itself in one of my units - have now taken it out and recompiled - if you could please check it for me and let me know if it works I'd be most appreciative.

Hi demitri,
Well, the whole day i've tried to download ppdv1b3(nobde).zip
but each time the transfer interrupts.
If you still want that I check it for you, please send the files to Tom.Deprez@uz.kuleuven.ac. be
Have fun,

Are you sure that you don't use some OCX or other components that need to be registered in this version? I supose that the error pops-up when you want to start the program? Than I think it has something to do with a registering.
PS. I downloaded your file ppdv11.zip but it doesn't work because I don't have the appropriate datafiles for it. Though, nice intro.
