How do I make columns? I can make a band a column header, but how the hell do I make a column?

I tried making the alignment of a band 'alLeft', And when there is only one band, this will compile. However, when I run the project it has a general protection fault whenever I try to Preview. WHY?! HOW DO I MAKE COLUMNS?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You have to define the columns in the quickreport component.
In quickreport 1.x you have the column property and
in quickreport 2.0 you have the columns property in the Page property.

Can you make certain columns fixed "group headers" so that Name Age and Height all appear in the first 3 colums of each page, and every column after that contains the results they scored in tests (as many dynamic columns as there are tests)?

Actually, Don't try to answer this question directly just yet, instead just say "Yes/No it's possible/impossible, and very difficult/easy to do in QuickReport"

If it proves too difficult, I'm just going to write it to a textfile.

By the way, thanks very much for your answer.

No, I'm going to do something that might upset you, here is the answer, hehe : use forceNewColumn property. Set it to true.
