I'm looking for a freely usable, java, source code inplementing the MD5 message signature algorithem.

Here are a couple different versions:

http://web.professionals.com/~cmcmanis/java/src/util/crypt/MD5.java
http://www.gr.osf.org/java/testsuite/src/JavaCompare/harvard/java/md5.java
http://www.oasis.leo.org/java/classes/security/MD5.dsc-list.html

This last one should have everything you need and be
freely distributable as well as freely usable. It's from
GNU and it has the md5 input and output streams as well.
