How do you print "selected" text in MIE3.0?

If you just want to print "selected" text in MIE3.0, how do you do it.  The "select" option in the "print" dialog box is perpetually grayed out.  I know you can print to notepad and clipboard, but how can you "select" text, and then print THAT "selected" text via the browser?  TIA

The reason why it is grayed is probably because it's still loading something. Clic on the stop button and try again.
But the best way to print would be to copy and paste to notepad, wordpad, write, or anything else that does that job. IE doesn't support selected text printing, as far as I know.
PS: Try Netscape, it's better.
