I recently uninstalled WP 6.1 as I have Wordperfect 7 inatalled and the next time I ran WP 7 I got the error message "The Perfect Fit DLLs could not be loaded."  I still have them in the WP 7 directory, but I don't know which ones I need to copy back to C:\WINDOWS.  There are 20 megs worth so I don't want to just copy them all over.

You dont want to copy any back to C:\windows....all of hte PFit7 files should stay in its own directory...

What has happened is that when you uninstalled WP6.1 it may have deleted an  initialization file that it happened to share with WP 7.

Your best and quickest bet would be to reinstall WP7...then everything will be in its right place...(even if we do figure out a "hack" to get this to work..something else may come up later again because of other files being deleted by accident)

I realize that this is much help...but hopefully it has given you a solution as to why it has happened..

I knew an uninstall was the best solution, I was just wondering if there was a quick fix.  Even if I reinstated the DLL files, I may have uninstalled other components that WP 7 was using.  Thanks.
