I'm running Slackware (2.0.27) on a 486-66 based machine. I have complied Aladdin GS5.02 and Magicfilter1.2 and can not find a filter to use with my Epson Stylus 400 printer. I have checked the Magicfilter filter directory and find nothing for my printer. Where Can I find a filter for this printer?

Check the config files for GhostScript - there should be a filter specifically for the Epson Stylus printers. Looking at the ghostscript 3.33 config files, it looks like you would want the
stcolor driver (Epson Stylus Color Driver). Check out devices.doc in the source distribution for more information.

If you don't have a colour printer, you can use any Epson driver; they all speak ESC/P, so it should all work fine.
