Shdocvw.dll requires Microsoft Internet Explorer to be installed for it to function correctly. So, if you want to use shdocvw, you also need to install Internet Explorer.

Thanks !

But it had to be a way to get around this problem. I have remove the C:\Program\Microsoft Internet\ and my program is still running. The browser in my program is just a littel part of it. And if the user don´t want to use this part I don´t like to force him to install  IE 3.0. I mean if i just know what files I need to have on my machine and how to register them it would be mutch mutch better.

I have now first install my exe on a clean machine, get the error about shdocvw.dll. Then I install IE 3.0 and my program runs fine. After this i uninstall IE 3.0. And now my program still work perfect, except the browser but thats OK...

Try adding the file shlwapi.dll to your installation package. I am not sure if it's on a clean installation.

Yes  !

I have now solve the problem:

The problem was that I in my mainMDI-window did have put dummy controls to make them load direct.  When i did remove the Browser-dummy from that window it was no problem with my other functions in my application. The error now just com when I try to load my browser window, but thats OK...

Tanks for responding  /Janne
