Is there a string (or ideally a script for the "modem scripts" folder) for the SupraExpress 56e (flex) modem which will allow connections faster than 33.6? Am using OS 7.5.5, OT 1.1.2

you have 2 real options. 1)try AT&FSO=0. Its basic but works on almost all modems. 2)give up now because it may not be your modem thats limiting the connection speed. your phone line quality may just be poor. which ya cant do a thing about. VERY rarely will a 56k modem ever even hit 53k. usually its between 48 and 28.8. which is around 33.6...which is whay youre getting.
