Monitor Does Not Stay On

When I depress the monitor power on button, the monitor comes on and stays on as long as I hold the button in.  When I release the button the monitor powers down.

The answer is that your power on button doesn't work correctly. You
shoukd replace it with a correct one, if possible, or ask your distributor
for repairing it.
