After several months of operation my OS/2 Lotus Notes server refuses to boot and displays the message &quot;OS/2 is unable to operate your hard disk or diskette drive. The system is stopped. Correct the preceding error and restart the system.&quot;<br />

I've tried booting the system from diskette and then running th &quot;CHKDSK&quot; &nbsp;command but it didn't help.<br />
<br />
I also renamed my original config.sys and replaced with another copy I found after doing &nbsp;&quot;dir/s&quot; but that didn't help either.<br />
<br />
I haven't &nbsp;installed any software, patch &nbsp;fix or driver.<br />
<br />
Can someone please help?<br />

I've tried booting the system from diskette and then running th "CHKDSK"  command but it didn't help.

I also renamed my original config.sys and replaced with another copy I found after doing  "dir/s" but that didn't help either.

I haven't  installed any software, patch  fix or driver.
