Printer Icons disappear and other printing problems

We have a novell 4.x lan and many windows 95 workstations.  Occasionally printer icons will disappear from the control panel/printers, and only a reboot or reinstall of the printers will get them back.  Also sometimes (very randomly) the printers will still be there, yet the jobs remain in the windows 95 print que and go nowhere, sometimes trying to delete them causes the pc to lock up.  Reinstalling the printers or (again) rebooting fixes this problem temporarily. Any ideas would be helpful.

This is a common problem when using Novell's Client32.  The solution is to load SPOOL32.EXE at login time. The easiest way to make this happen is to add the following registry entry to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Spool32=c:\\windows\\system\\spool32.exe
