First of all to clarify, you write C programs with any text editor to generate your source code. Then you complie and link the the source code file to make an executable file (*.exe on Intel machines).  You can get an excellent 32 bit c/c++ intel compiler called DJGPP from the following web site:

good luck ....kburns

Please clarify what you found unacceptable about my answer so I might give you the true answer you are looking for? Did you not ask where could you download a C compiler to write c programs? I'm confused. What do you want? ....kburns
