A friend scanned a picture on to an IBM disk using Tift format. But I have a Mac, it is PC compatable, I do have SoftWindows 3.1 But I can not read this disk on the Mac or the Windows 3.1. What is the easyist way to solve this so I can e-mail and print this picture?
Thanks

ya sure it wasnt TIFF? in any case you need to set up PC Exchange (controll panel with sys 7.5 and up) to mount that disk. If it doesnt mount its got more problems than a weird file format. once its mounted copy the file to your HD and open it with something like graphics converter. Then save it as a GIF, JPEG, or PICT.

It was on and is on. I have placed an order for "Photo shop", I was told that that will open anything.Do you think that will work?

Thanks

photoshop will open just about everything....graphics converter opens more than everything. Photoshop just has ALOT more power longrun.
