EF2000 G+ results in "Checksum Error"

I've downloaded the G+ patch for EF2000 from the net.
When the program is patching DID.DAT, I get the following message: Checksum failure at DID.$$$.
The size of my TACTPAT.EXE is 14.131.200 bytes, the right size as I've read before.
HELP !!!

Try reinstalling the game, then patch it.
