Polling process can be linked to many things. &nbsp;Controller drivers, various NLMs, etc.<br />

I would suggest making sure you have applied the latest Novell 3.12 minimum patch list and verifying you have the latest BIOS revs on your controller as well as the latest drivers for you NIC's and controller.<br />

Other things that would help are knowing the first several lines of the abend messsage. &nbsp;What time and how often does it crash? &nbsp;Load monitor and see if processor utilization is rising before the abend, etc.<br />

Users don't login to it - they attach from a different 3.12 server.

Netware 3.12 - Abend - Polling Process

NetWare is a computer network operating system developed by Novell, Inc. It initially used cooperative multitasking to run various services on a personal computer, using the Internetwork Packet Exchange (IPX) network protocol. It is hardware-independent, running on any suitable Intel-based PC compatible system, and a wide range of network cards.
