web page titles

When a browser keys in on a title page ( say page 3 on your site) will it bring up your index or home page or just the page it has selected.  If so then I assume you can't get back to the index or home page unless page 3 has a link back to the index.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I'm sorry to have to asnwer like this:
You're perfectly right. Quiestion answered by yourself!
You get your 200 points :)
The page title is just there for information
The content of the page depends only on the creator of that page, not the browser.
Therefore, If I end up on page 3 of your site and you haven't put any link to the main page, I won't find it automatically.
That said, since I'm not totally out of my mind, I'll get the address of page 3 and modify it myslef.
Exemple: http://www.my_home_page/page3.thm
--> http://www.my_home_page/page1.thm
or: --> http://www.my_home_page/
