connect linux with win95

dear experts:

   i want use ftp in win95 to connect a linux machine.these
two pcs are connected by two netcards.
   i have added and configed tcp/ip on the card in win95.
   i aslo compile ne.o module which support my net card in linux and after i boot the linux , i type ifconfig and it like this :
 ifconfig
lo   ......

etho ......
     inet address 120.130.140.150 bcast ..... mask ....
     interrupt 3 .....

it seems the card is ok and have no conflicts.

but why i cannt ping the 120.130.140.150 in win95?
please help me ? and sorry for the poor explanation.

I assume that you can ping your Win95 box from Linux.
If so, try to run "inetd" on linux. If this doesn't help
you'll have to provide us with more information.
