Seat Reservation System

This is not a specific Perl programming question but I
want to know where I might get hold of a Perl script
written to accommodate a theatre seat reservation
system. I have a shopping cart Perl Prgramme that I have
modified but all the shopping cart systems I have seen do
not accommodate stock control. In the case of a theatre seat
(stock of 1) when it is booked the stock needs to decrement
to zero so that no one else can double book the same seat.

Any suggestions please.

Thanks - Brian Roberts

Well the simple way would be that you created an array as big as the amount of chairs you have, and that you place a '1' in each seat wich is accupied.
The problem is that this would be a completely new part of your shopping car app (I wouln't use one of these for that)

Thanks for the help - I'm surprised I haven't been able to find
a script for seat reservations somewhere - shopping carts are all
over the place and I would have thought a script for seat
reservations might have been more readily available.
